Up-date: This trailer is no longer for sale.
I am working on it and getting it ready for a family in CA.
Hello! I have a trailer that I am going to sell "as-is". I just have too many projects going on right now. I also have been recovering from shingles and that has been a"pain" in the back--and side. :) It has been a rough couple of months, but I am feeling better. I have talked to several of you who are looking to buy a trailer. As of now, I am not taking any more custom jobs. I buy what I can find that is in good condition and go from there. They usually "evolve" as I go. If I post something that you want--get in touch with me ASAP. I have LOTS of interest in my trailers. I know that people have different budgets and this is a great way to start and make your dreams happen.
This trailer has an amazing interior. Very warm and cozy feel with original wood paneling. It looks awesome. There is a tiny bit of water damage around the front window. It has been sealed and doesn't leak. There is no damage around the vent or in the corners. The propane system needs a new regulator--we tested it and there is a little leak.. The fridge works great as well as the stove. There is a toilet/shower. We have not hooked up the water or tested that system, but it looks good. The floor is excellent and original--and so VINTAGE. The cushions are original and show very little wear. The wood is in great shape. There is some general wear and tear--a few of the latches are broken. The couch pulls our into a bed for two. The dinette drops into a bed and then there is a bunk above the couch. It is sturdy--does not have cushions though. The bunk area can also be used as storage. Even an old radio from the 80s that works!
The exterior needs some work for sure. The door is bent a bit--it needs some work. It needs to be sanded, painted, and primed. It will need new covers on the top vents. The exterior electrical works, but it looks "redneck". The previous owners duct taped the wires up the side. It works, and I don't want to pull it apart, for fear of messing it up.
The tires are good--very few miles and there is a spare included. Solid frame. It looks BAD, but really is a great trailer. I thought I would just see if there is any interest for someone to save some money and do some work on there own. The trailer is totally usable as it is. I can give you tips on painting the exterior. Let me know if you are interested.
Weight 2000 lbs.
Length 12 ft
Width 8 ft.
All fun vintage decor is included. Thermos, canteen, National Parks prints, flowers, enamel pots, wool blanket, and fun pillows.
$5000--"as-is". I will paint the exterior for an extra $2200. If you want that option, I would do the trailer white, with accents stripes. I would recommend navy, black, gray, or a nice vintage green color.
