We've got another little trailer ready to go. A 1973 Rancho El Rae. The previous owners named her "Rae"--I loved it, so we kept it. Very classic--black and white exterior paint job. Re-sealed--does not leak. Minimal water damaged was fixed. We made some upgrades, cleaned everything up and have it ready to roll. The interior has been painted white--nice, new and fresh look. Very bright and clean. The cushions had been recovered and needed new covers. I took them off and found the original covers is great condition. What a fun surprise. They do have some wear, but they still look great. I did wash them and hang them to dry, so they are clean and ready to go. One cover was missing, so I one of the couch cushions is navy--looks awesome. The ceiling is incredible--stained wood ship-lap. Very cozy and warm feeling. The floor is new luxury vinyl, wood-looking planks. It holds up great, cleans easily and looks fabulous. The cabinets have all been painted and the original hardware was painted black and re-placed. Appliances all work great. The fridge/freezer works really well--it is ice cold!! The stove/oven propane system works great. The toilet is near new--I don't think it has ever been used. We tested it and it works well. Shower is in great working order.
The couch pulls out to a bed to sleep two. The bunk will hold at least 150 lbs. It is sturdy. Will sleep two kids or one adult. The dinette drops to a bed. One adult or two kids. Great storage. Blinds on the windows. Windows crank open for good air flow. Near new tires--very few miles, with new spare. This trailer also has LOTS of extras--drop hitch, anti-sway bar, trailer brakes, wheel chocks, hose, extra battery holder, sewer hose holder. It is a great trailer!!
