1974 Prowler--Exterior Paint Job

So, here is the latest on the exterior paint job--the spray paint worked pretty well. I think IF I did it again, I would buy a sprayer and use marine grade paint. I am happy with how the trailer turned out, but it ended up costing more than I thought it would. I used primer, and then white with blue strips. I hope it lasts and looks good. I wish that I would have gotten more photos of the taping and painting process--it was pretty simple clean-up to use the spray paint and I did it a little at a time--I had lots of help, too, so that was nice. On the back, I tried doing a little point with silver edges. The tape peeled off the paint underneath--it was right before we left for a big 2-week camping trip, so i just left it--it will have to fix it later. I may use reflective tape or get some vinyl decal tape strips to fix the mess. We added a diamond plate to the front where rocks flip up and make little dents. I love the contrast and look of the diamond plate--i got it locally for $50 and was happy about that. I do love the colors they look really good together. We added new light and reflectors--that made a BIG difference in the overall look. I want to add some fun decals. Great vintage style and colors. We are all falling in love with her.
