1968 RoadRunner--Interior--DONE!!

We have put all of the finishing touches on "Daisy". We are done after months of hard work, trouble-shooting, trips to the hardware store, lots of paint, caulk, and fun trips to the antique store. It has truly been an adventure and a great family project to fix up the trailer. My husband does the fix-it type stuff, my teenage daughter helps paint and she caulking is her favorite job--seriously! She also has done the photography and some of the art-work. I love to sew and decorate. It is fun to take my girls to the antique stores to hunt for just the right treasures--an old lantern, enamel pot, or canteen. The little kids are good motivational support and love being out by me while working on something. Of course, we bribe with treats! It has been (mostly) fun. I love to see how each trailer has a personality and it just kind of evolves and emerges as we work on it and find fun treasure that just become a part of her. I love to hunt for the perfect art work, pillows, and fun vintage camping items. The photos bring me so much joy--it will be hard to let her go--we hope someone will enjoy her for years to come. Thanks for joining us on the journey. Enjoy!
